How are the 00 to 01 jts

Hello all how are the 2000 to 01 jts.how reliable are they ?? Do they have any pcm problems or anything like that.i have a 98 Cherokee that I wanna sell and get a tj thanks

I don't really think a Cherokee is any less reliable than a TJ, same engine, same dash, same computer, same electronics, basically everything's the same except the body and the wranglers have an actual frame which is a huge plus. From 97-06 the computer did change a few times I think. Newer is usually better.

But if your having issues with yours and you don't want to keep workin on it selling it sometimes is the best course of action.
 
I believe 01 had some engine changes. First year of distributorless ignition. Think there was a cylinder head and exhaust manifold change in 01 too. No other major cosmetic changes until 03.
 
I'm a JT with a TJ! I'm very reliable, so yeah, a TJ is reliable.
 
I'd go with any TJ post 2000. 2000-2006 had coil rail. I'm a big fan of the coil rail instead of the distributor. Also the post 2000 I belive it is has a 10hp increase I've been told.
