How do I chose right clip for brake pad install?

Hi. Novice needs help!
New to the Forum. Will be updating my profile ASAP. Not new to JEEP ownership, but new to the D.I.Y. aspect of it.
I am replacing a seized caliper on my 1999 TJ. Running 33" Mickey Thompsons with a 3" Black Diamond lift.
Purchased Duralast calipers and Duralast Gold ceramic pads. It comes with several "adjustment clips" but no instructions on which clips to install. How do I determine what is the correct clip to use to keep to proper tolerance? I have NOT installed them yet, so if there is a better/easier fix, please let me know. Thanks!

There are a few things to consider. If you have worn spots in the slider that the end of the pad rests on, that will need to be repaired first. Once that is done, you can then use the clips to adjust the pad length. You want about the thickness of a business card for a gap, maybe a bit less but you want the pad to slide easily side to side with light pressure, but have very little top to bottom movement. The minimal movement is just to stop them from rattling or clunking and wearing on the guide sleeves. It typically won't affect performance if the clearance is too much.
