No. The chances of the Jeep pulling the chain off the trailer, breaking the two front straps, popping out of gear,overcoming the brakes, and crushing 4 wheel chocks in either direction is not zero.
It may have occured as we plummeted to our deaths after going off the side of the roads through the Colorado mountains. The truck woul probably get scratched up and the stuff we stored in the bed tossed around Colorado too.
Buy 8 metal wheel chocks if you think 8 plastic RV chocks aren't enough. Or make your own.
Like I said for everything in the first paragraph to happen SHTF for other reasons. Not because of the plastic wheel chocks.
An automatic in park with the brake set isn't likely to move much. The tie down is to make sure it doesn't. Blocking the wheels does more. If a chain or strap came loose, blocking the wheels is one more insurance.
