How many of you outdoor cook with a Traeger? If not what is your BBQ rig of choice?

I went for it on the 4th. It was just me,my wife and our 3 boys. Everybody got their favorite.

Put a 2 lb tri-tip on the smoker.

hanging out with my girlfriend this weekend we got to talking about pizza on the Egg & she mentioned that I never made her a deep dish pie on it, challenge accepted. Mixed up a batch of dough at around 8am yesterday, by 9:30 it had doubled in size, punched it down & tossed it into a well olive oiled cast iron pan for rise #2, around noon I fired up the Egg & tossed a big chunk of pecan wood on top of the lump & about a half hour later I stabilized it at around 425 & added the pie, about 25 minutes later she was ready to eat:

The night before we fired up the Smoky Joe & made some portabella 'burgers' & homemade fries, used toasted English muffins for buns & some 'alouette' cheese, topped with grilled onion & avocado, washed it all down with some cold beers, great hot summer night in the hut:

Traegers look nice, But I still use my old Chargriller.
Couple years ago I won a Bradley 6rack digital smoker at BPS in Rocklin.
Still like smoking on my Chargriller better.

Added this to the cabin options. Sort of looks like we have elected a new Pope. But after about 6 hrs the Pork Ribs turned out great

I noticed your photos do not show the digital temperature setting. I call that cheating! ;) Nothing like having to adjust inlet and outlet doors throughout the cook. I did have my Weber silver bullet grill get much higher than I was shooting for and found that I like to smoke ribs at a higher temperate than pork or brisket. The Weber bullet smoker is gone and really like my Kamado Joe now.

What do you mean cheating, just because when i use the probe it Bluetooth's to my IPhone and notifies when my meat is ready you think this is cheating 😂 or because It also tells me it up to temp so I know when to put down my 🍸 and put the meat on the grill. And if I have not finished my 🍸🍸🍸and can switch it to the " Keep Warm ' mode.

There is no way this is cheating it's being creative and making the most of my cocktail hour'(s) 🤭

It's about time to try a brisket though I think.
Try a brisket! I have found the brisket at local grocery stores are about $7 a pound but less than half that at Walmart and have always been happy with a Walmart brisket. They take a long time. I also found that it is best to get it done a couple of hours before you want to eat then let it rest in a cooler. For my daughters graduation party where I would be busy I did it the day before and warmed it back up for the party. It was awesome!

Celebrated my 54th birthday today.

Dinner with wife and 3 sons.

3 ribeyes, 2 filet mignons, and 2 lobster tails. I'm the only one who likes lobster, so lucky me.
