As I posted about yesterday I drilled drain holes in my frame. Today I’m gonna clean out the inside with a power washer.
When I’m done what do I need and how much do I need of it to coat the inside of the frame to prevent any further rust?
I’m thinking of if the paint i quickly painted on the frame falls off sanding down the accessible area and doing a proper job. So I would also like to know what is recommended for that.
Thanks!

You should clean the inside with a clog hog with a real pressure washer, electric does not work.

Then after that dries, spray a rust converter and repeat. Then spray with Eastwood internal frame coating or a coating of your choice.

I would think these coatings would only come in gallon sized containers. Maybe I am wrong but better to have too much than run short in the middle of a project.

It's been a while, but I think I used two cans of Eastwoods internal frame coating. That was just the frame, not any crossmembers, torque boxes, etc.
I sprayed both sides at once, let it dry, then the second can. Otherwise, the spray nozzle with dry-up between coats.
It's basically paint, so I would only use that if yours is still rust free.
If I was doing it again, the wax products seem like a better solution.
