How much is this 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport with 69k miles worth?

I was helping the daughter find a car out in Ft Collins Co and an older gentlemen came in with a Red 2014 JK 4door Rubicon manual trans. He parked next to my LJ. I chatted with him about it and he said it was getting harder for him to handle and he was looking for $30k out of it. 54K miles.
The salesman called me back in reference to the car we were looking for and I asked if he got it bought, yes. How much? $28,500

I don’t know the market just relating what I recently experienced.
There should be a link on the main Forum list here to a sister site JK forum, you might get better responses asking there.
Now they bring 27,500-32,500 and more consistently- that one has been modded a good bit- doesn’t do anything but make it more buyer specific. Bank values stay the same.

I paid $13k for a 2 door manual ‘15 three years ago with 45k miles. Found it on an auction website.

@Jeep6839 privately, it's hard to say. I imagine anyone who's willing to pay up to 20k or more privately will usually just buy a new one using a sizable down payment and finance the rest. But I could be totally wrong.
Im considering selling my JKU. If I do, it'll be via Carvana or Vroom.

Anyone looking for a a jeep just wait a few months, the housing market is already starting to slide, socialist unemployment payments are imploding, the quarterly jobs report Friday was terrible.... Disposable income is going to be down, and the price of Jeep, dirt bikes, and other toys is about to crash.
A friend of mine was looking at used ones a couple years old and they were selling for more than the original sticker price.
Wait a few months and get a TJ. That thing has all sorts of worthless crap hanging on it.
