So I purchased a pair of GMRS two-way radios. And being the conscientious citizen that I am, I went to the FCC website and purchased a license to operate them. The application process did not require me to enter a Call Sign and I missed that step.
So the reference copy of my license printed with the Call Sign field blank. But I've since read that when you operate these radios you're supposed to identify yourself with your Call Sign.
I've been back to the FCC website to try and add a Call Sign to my license but I can't figure it out. Does anyone know how to do this, or know where there are online instructions for this specific task? Thanks.
