How to identify what SYE I have so I can get the right seal

Hi guys,

Looking for advice on how to identify what seal I need for the output shaft on the SYE that was in my jeep already when I bought it…cant find any markings or branding, and it sounds like there are different seals depending on the SYE you have…any advice?

I don’t know. what It is, but I can tell you that’s it’s not an Advance Adapters.

It looks like one of the company’s that have a shorter version. Someone on here will likely know though.

The seal should have a number on it. If not you can measure it, ID, OD and thickness. Cross reference with a seal company or check McMaster Carr

There are letter/digits on right side of the output shaft housing that could be cross referenced to determine the manufacturer.
