How to install daytime running lights

I purchased some LED headlights that had the option for DRL's. After researching some very useful threads on this forum for power and wiring I decided to make a video to make it a bit easier for anyone who would like to try it. Feel free to subscribe

I know this post is old, but has this method held up? Any feedback or things you'd do differently?

Yes this method has been working with no issues for me for over a year.
Only thing that I would have done differently is to install in interior cut off switch so the DRLs aren’t on when I just want to listed to the radio.

I have an '06 TJ but my fuse box where you have that plugged in has no power. Any clue if I should pull that apart to see if I can wire hot to it? Or another suggestion to wire them. I have a switch installed also that I can turn them all off... I pull a boat and it's nice to shut them off when launching/loading at dark.
