I finished up a project to paint the interior of my hardtop black and also made a custom headliner for it. I picked up a bunch of info and tips from threads on the board, so I made some videos of the process and wanted to share them in case anyone else finds them useful.

I am pretty happy with the finished product and like the feel it gives the interior over the OEM white finish.

I added more details about both projects on the pages below as well:

Painting my hardtop's interior black is one of the best simple things I've done to the LJ. I only regret waiting as long as I did.

I am really glad I painted my hardtop interior. I was planning to paint the exterior but after scrubbing with magic erasers I decided it did not need to be painted so I did the inside.

Looks good! When I was reading through the threads and doing research I saw a couple of other folks that painted the outside with the same SEM Trim Black paint that I used and they looked really good.

The outside of my top is already scratched and chipped in places and there is probably more to come so I didn't bother with painting the outside either. It would have been a lot of work to strip the exterior of the spice color that it is now and re-paint it black.
