I need to replace my IAC, but am having a hard time getting the torx screw out. What kind of tool have you used to get enough leverage to get that torx screw from under the IAC loose? I am afraid I may be close to stripping that torx screw!

I use a 1/4" drive torx bit with a 1/4" drive ratchet wrench, no problem. Keep inward pressure on the bit so it stays seated in the screw while unscrewing it.
The torx bit is a hair too short and gets caught up on the IAC itself inhibiting the torx bit to reach the screw .
You just need a longer torx bit, they're easily found. I have a kit where each torx bit is probably 5" long and another kit where they're nearly 2" long which is long enough for the IAC screws.
