I've replaced the hvac cruise control vacuum harness for my problem. My cruise control is back, but still no a/c. I'm not sure where to head from here. Any suggestions? I can't find any advice on you tube.
I should have presented that another way, I am unable to switch from one vent to another because of a faulty vacuum system. How's that! Bottom line, no A/C. I must be using the wrong website to ask questions.
The wrong website to ask questions? No, I think that you just needed to be more descriptive with your original post
Anyhow, the fact that you are unable to switch from one vent to another is either a vacuum line issue (which a smoke test is very good for figuring out exactly where the leak is), or it can also be a blend door (I believe that's what it's called) that is broken.
But if the A/C isn't working, then the first place to look is the A/C compressor itself. In other words, see if the clutch on the compressor engages when you turn on the A/C.
