HVAC working after Jeep being off for 5 minutes

I live in Montana, so during the summer it gets super hot. We had one day that was well over 100°.(no idea if that has something to do with it.) Was driving to oreily for oil. AC has worked perfectly fine everyday since I got it 2 years ago. I pull into oreily, turn the car off, am inside for about 5 minutes, got my crap, go back out to turn the jeep on, and all of a sudden the AC doesn't work. I've been searching the internet for a solution but I've got nothing. I removed the blower motor and hooked it directly to the battery and it works, so it's not that. It's not the resistor because if it was that I'd have max speed and I don't have any speed. I've replaced every single fuse behind the glove box and under the hood, and none of that seems to work, so I'm left feeling defeated. The only other thing is my climate control module. I'd really rather not replace it because I have a 97 TJ 4.0 which means I have the one knob and 2 sliders. A new module from what I saw is like $400. Anyone got any ideas?

Could use the FSM and rig up a switch for blower speeds. It's in the resources section.

I've got a 97 and I'm preemptively searching for my inevitable replacement.

That might just involve modeling the current one and having it made out of aluminum with CNC. I can't see 3D printing plastic lasting long with the slider forces.

Is the A/C compressor cycling off/on? Like 'macleanflood' suggested maybe your a/c compressor is working and is cold and for some reason your blower motor is not engaging.
