Well he's got a thread asking about a head replacement and another about the distributor possibly being the cause. I'm all for popping beers and fist bumps but just a reminder to help the next poor, unfortunate soul by updating posts with a resolution to the problem when possible.

Congrats @Gasman1979 on solving your timing issue!

I read it and agree. He needs to do both........ after the party. :) Hopefully the issue doesn't return.

Instead of posting a new thread about your victory it would be better just to post a message to one of your other threads about this issue so that your thread has a conclusion to the problem you were trying to solve. It could help someone out in the future. 👍

I got excited 😆

If everyone would keep threads clean, organized and culminating with a solution, what would we need to be here for? All we would need to do is write. "go see gasmans thread" and our jobs would be done. I am confident that every single issue has been discussed a multitude of times.

Bustin your chops Greg.

hey somebody run over and and sling mud on Andy's windshield so he has something to keep him busy ! Be sure to get all 3 that will keep him busy for at least a month :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Oh no you don’t we’re going to do this the right way-

We’re going to do him like the building inspectors do me-

He’s got to go back in there and get that thing one tooth out of time and show the problem and then fix it and post it on the original thread

Then he can do an application to have another thread and it will be reviewed by the forum redundancy department- which is me.

Then we will tell him we knew all along it was probably one or two teeth out but we just wanted him to check some other stuff first....

We could just have one post that covers everything-

“What gears to run with 35 inch tires when you have death wobble and 3 codes and is this too much rust “

I think that pretty much sums it up

I will update ALL threads with the fix. lol. I got excited !!!

Ok. So I got excited. Started like my 73rd thread. But you know what….I FIXED THE SUM BITCH ! Wooooooooooooo. I can now cruise at 65 mph turning 3500ish rpm and maintain speed. I’m not gonna lie. I still have a semi chub.

I updated alllllll my threads 😂

Just for info sake. A TJ WILL run one tooth out on the timing. It will seem to run ok. Slight rough idle and no power on top end but will still run good at the lower rpm bands. It will cause major issues like weird fuel trims, erratic O2 readings, low MAP reads and a few others I’ll tell my therapist about down the road.

I shan’t discuss the oil leak I created and now have to fix in this process. Just know I fixed it 😂
