maybe just one thread on it...
But…….i kinda feel like it’s my thing now. Like that’s Gasman’s schtick…he posts multiple threads rambling about various issues.
I did leave a damn oil leak . I’ll get to it. Later.
maybe just one thread on it...
don't forget the "do you guys know where to get a PCM " that is posted every other day !!!!We could just have one post that covers everything-
“What gears to run with 35 inch tires when you have death wobble and 3 codes and is this too much rust “
I think that pretty much sums it up

I think I should come up with some kind of regulation for this......Before it gets out of hand
The PO had the timing out one god forsaken tooth !!! So, fuck that guy….i finally got it right…..I need a drink.

For the record, a TJ with a camshaft synchronizer will run perfectly fine with it in 180 degrees out.Just for info sake. A TJ WILL run one tooth out on the timing. It will seem to run ok.
You sound like a government employee.
I’d make a good one …someone sign me up
Ok. So I got excited. Started like my 73rd thread. But you know what….I FIXED THE SUM BITCH ! Wooooooooooooo. I can now cruise at 65 mph turning 6300ish rpm and maintain speed. I’m not gonna lie. I still have a semi chub.
I updated alllllll my threads
Just for info sake. A TJ WILL run one tooth out on the timing. It will seem to run ok. Slight rough idle and no power on top end but will still run good at the lower rpm bands. It will cause major issues like weird fuel trims, erratic O2 readings, low MAP reads and a few others I’ll tell my therapist about down the road.
I shan’t discuss the oil leak I created and now have to fix in this process. Just know I fixed it

Where's @Squatch? Shouldn't this and the other threads of the OP be at least somewhat off topic by now?
That would mean the ignition would be on the exhaust stroke and not compression stroke so you’re gonna need to explain that one.
No idea. We were working on one with an intermittent stalling issue under certain conditions. After lots of work with the DRB, I looked down and noticed the camshaft synchronizer looked odd. We pulled it, set the timing notch to zero on the compression stroke verified, and reinstalled the synchronizer correctly. It ran exactly the same with no issues and was not responsible for the stalling problem.
Maybe it has to do with the waste fire set up? All I know is the owner said he had never touched it, had not had it worked on and had been driving it that way for a very long time.
