It is, indeed! We have a *Fantastic* German deli/store/restaurant here called Tip Top Meats.
Their Prime Filet is just plain excellent. I got another one for tomorrow night - just in case I didn't get enough steak-y awesomeness tonight (Hint, I didn't! heh).
A little salt and pepper, and it's good to go!

I am patiently waiting and starving myself till 8am. At that time Mom delivers her famous breakfast casserole on Christmas. I have been doing this since as long as I could remember, maybe 35 years or so.

It is SO delicious that I ask her to make two so I can take one home and eat it for the next couple days.
