I un-did the unthinkable...

Had the JKU, teenage kids hated traveling in it, does not work well for ski trips even with the box on top (That is another venture driving down the highway with a cross wind in a JKU with a ski box). That is why I traded in the JKU when the wife wanted to go back to a car. I took over her soul sucking explorer and then eventually got the TJ.....couldn't take it anymore, leave the explorer for trips.

Yes, the JK has shared the same engine (first the 3.8, then the 3.6) with all of their minivans (and other vehicles as well) since it’s introduction in 2007.

You done good! Think of it this way. You just saved 30 grand! So now you have all that money for TJ mods. And with the bumper I can see you’re already spending it!

Here's what you could have missed out on with the foh-doh buddy. Btw, that's a TJ pulling cable to help him up the rest of the way. In his defense, he forgot to engage the front diff lock. Probably would have made it otherwise. None of us had the balls to follow him, so cudos for the school bus! Sorry for the crappy video.

Total fan of the Crown Vic. Owned one for a short spell. Drove like a dream. Google the Chevy Blazer losing its brakes going down that trail. Yikes!
