Hi all. Have a 2004 LJ and am looking for a late fall / winter project. I know it’s July, but want to get some ideas now. The jeep has a bit of rust on the front fenders (usual spots ) and on the lower tub panel. I bought it this way, knowing I would address those issues and got a good price on an otherwise in good shape LJ. Anyway, some thoughts on fenders and also some thoughts on the rocker panel solutions. I’m pretty sure plenty of folks on this forum have done similar work on their jeeps. Thanks for the help.....

Heck, my ‘04 LJ is rust free but needs a transmission... I have tube fenders all around.

Not sure, Poison Spider maybe? They came on it, I’m the 2nd owner. Sorry for the delay, hit a bit of a rough patch and avoided the web a bit.

I'm partial to PS. What's your ultimate goal? More travel or simply replacing rusted fenders?

The only tube fenders I've seen that I care for are the GenRight ones. The other ones (especially the Metalcloak ones) look silly to me. Actually, the PS ones don't look too bad!
