they have gained a little following I would assume for the AWD part and probably because of its ugliness.. it’d would be cool to have though!

I'm a Marlin man, myself. Have owned five or six of 'em. Have a '66 project car in the garage. Love 'em!Snort! Did AMC *ever* make a good looking car? The AMX wasn't too bad though...
They actually had a history of leaking fuel and catching fire. I've had friends who have had their Eagles suffer from this. Aftermarket gaskets cured the problem. Small price to pay for looking so cool, no?i had a brown 1 like post 4 shows. the carb bolts were stripped and the thing would vibrate and leak fuel from under it when sitting at red lights and even caught fire a few times. but for the 120$ it cost me i drove the crap out of it...and got 200 on the resale.
AMX, Javelin, Hurst-Rambler Scrambler. They were sharp enough.Snort! Did AMC *ever* make a good looking car? The AMX wasn't too bad though...

They were called "The Machine". It's based on the Rebel, which was later replaced by the Matador. Those wheels on there are worth a small fortune, these days.Is that a Matador?
