Ignition won’t lock on 06 TJ

When I turn the key to the position where the wheel should lock and remove the key, I can still turn the wheel.
Yesterday I had the key out of the ignition and turned the wheel about a half revolution to the left and it locked. Cannot get it to repeat today.
Is there an adjustment or limiter somewhere on the column that is adjustable?
