But...ya prolly never knew I left! I wasn’t super active here, I plan on doing better! Haha..Back in March a buddy at work gave me a couldn’t refuse offer on our Black ‘05 LJ, so I took it. After some family discusssions and not wanting another car payment for our future driving daughter, we decided she wanted a Jeep. So after a short hunt we found another LJ, ‘05. 140k on the clock, pretty clean. Has a new 2” lift, a bunch of touch up(seller was clearly a flipper) sitting on 33’s. Recently ditched the factory soft top for a Bestop NX, like we had on the black one. Next up is a 1” daystar body lift and fix the 2 tub mounts that have a little more rot than we thought. I’ll be posting a proper build thread, Just some quick notes and pics.... also in the market for a few things(prolly have to be local) that will hit a list in the thread. Anyway...big Jeep waves

I have been here myself though. I've sold my TJ two times and both times regretted it and bought another. Third time is a charm though, right?

Great looking Unlimited, but that grille is completely ruining the look and then some. Get that angry turd grille off and it will look solid as hell

Yeah..the grill...she likes it...I’ve given her most rights in it...A 15 y/o girl likes whack shit. Haha. I’m hoping after the body lift and some bumpers she’ll let me get rid of it.

Avoid any body lift that uses polyurethane pucks like Daystar does. Polyurethane both squeaks and readily passes vibrations into the passenger compartment.

Yep poly is the absolute worst bushing material for causing the most vibrations. Plus poly's propensity to squeak will drive most people crazy.
