No problem! I got the lighter out after hitting it hard enough with a pair of channel locks hahaha I just gonna assume red/green is positive and try it out!

At my work I do, so that's not going to help me now lol If it doesn't work on the positive terminal I'll just switch it
Get a test light for future endeavors. I always triple check the wires, even when I am certain I know which is which. Here are two cheap tools that will serve you well.

USB port project was a success! Red/green was positive! While I was in there I changed out the rocker bulbs too!

Nice! So you just tied both red/green into the positive pole and the other to your negative for the USB outlet? Or was yours a 3 pole?
It was a two pole, red/green was positive and black went to the negative. I ran into the issue yesterday was both of those wires were way to short so I had to run out, get some buttsplices, crimpers and use the extinctions wires that came with the kit

Nice, thanks for the info!! If I recall once you cut off the factory pigtail there wouldn't be much room at all.
There was about a inch or a little more of wire after I cut the fitting off! Lol
