Hello. Me and a few buddies are going to the local junkyard to pull a ford 8.8 out of a ford mountaineer for an axle swap in my jeep tj. If anybody has taken out a junkyard 8.8, can you please tell me what tools you used and the steps to take it out? I have a general idea of what to do but if I can get a few pointers that would be a blessing, thanks.

Sawzall with an extra battery, lug wrench/tire iron, wire cutters, a really big pry bar, and Crescent wrenches can get it done if on a budget.

We used to make out just fine when we used to steal em.
