Showed up at auction today,
1973 Land Rover w/less then 1000 kilometers on the clock.

Odometer doesn't look quite right to me. The way the 2nd "0" is off a bit. Usually an indication it has been messed with. Not that I have ever messed with an odometer.

Portland- Manheim auto auction, can be tracked by work order #
It has a couple of small boxes of new parts in the back, one looks like a new head gasket kit #BR0021C.
The on-site mechanics said the odometer has not been tampered with, that 0 looks to be about to turn over the 1. I was told the engine is a 2.3 LTE

I was looking at an older 110, but a 109 would do as well.
I just posted the work order #,
It has the Vin# on it, that would help any research. The supplier for the head gasket kit is Bearmach.
That might help with the engine ID.
The dealership that sent the Rover to us was Toyota of Portland.
As of today there has been no minimum set, that will no doubt change as it gets closer to auction time next Tuesday.
