Is it my clutch?🥴

Heyy everyone I’m new to the forum I have a 99 4Cyl 2.5L (don’t hurt me) and I have a question. I went out the other day and started up my 99 Tj (daily driver) drove about a half mile and couldn’t go into 3rd for some reason. The clutch was sticking not letting me shift up or down so I pulled over. I stoped put it in neutral engaged the e brake took my foot off the clutch and it stalled. Started it up again in neutral with e brake and it stalled again. Do I need a new clutch or is it something with my brakes??!!! PLEASE HELP!

I changed the slave and master cylinder, still having the same problem.

If the vehicle is stalling when the clutch is released, and the gear shifter is in neutral, then, well, the car isn't actually in neutral. This isn't a problem in your clutch, it is a problem in your gearbox...

Check to see if the shifter is firmly bolted down to the top of the gear box...
IF it is loose; this can affect gear selection....
