Is Rotella T5 10W-30 still good oil?

Use shell rotella 15w-40 diesel oil in literally everything I own that has an engine. Never had an engine failure before.

To go along with this.

I have used what ever grade the manufacturer said. Using many different oil manufacturers and never had an oil related failure.

I am willing to bet someone on this forum has seen oil related failures.

So are you right?
am i right?
are they right?

The question that can not be answered.

Just to add to the waves--I run Shell Rotella 10-30 with a mopar filter. Change oil every 3500-5000 miles. 50k miles and my jeep is still trucking along. And since we are mentioning other engines and vehicles I have run synthetic in my motorycle since day 1. The oil change cost me I think $20 for a gallon of Shell (SHOCKER), and a fram filter. 30k miles and still putz'ing along.

Castrol GTX 5-30 and 10-30 for the last 85k miles. Seems fine as far as I can tell.

I’ve been using Rotella 10W-30 for a while now. Tried others and my engine would tick. Amsoil made it tick worse than the others.
I finally just learned to stop experimenting and use what works. $14 a gallon for the Rotella ain’t bad either.
