Is this a good hose clamp?

I had to replace a hose clamp for the trans line at the radiator and I thought I’d try one of these. Are they good or are they crap?

That will most likely work fine, I prefer constant tension clamps but your mileage may vary. Constant tension perform better under expansion and contraction of high heat applications.
 
If you can find one of the constant tension clamps the factory uses they are great. Grainger sells them and just about every junkyard will have a million of them. I just bought a package of 10 16mm clamps when I put in a cooler, PM your address and I'll send you one.

Whenever I go to the junkyard I make sure I garb a fistful of various clamps, bulbs, fuses, and relays. I also do the same with bolts.
