When you get you new kit, you might want to test fit your new snap rings before putting everything else in.
Agreed. Going to smooth out the housing with fine grit sandpaper gently.

Thank you.
Hugeeee lesson learned this weekend.
Don't ram-rod stuff I have no idea about.
The cost of replacement internals total $50.01. I can list the parts if you want. Adding the differential side machined JJ brings the total close to $100....the other joint on top of the Diff is $50. plus getting all of the proper replacement parts is just about the same and buying the whole kit,
How else do you expect to learn? We have all bled somewhere on our jeeps if we actually built them an not bought them...Thank you.

I like the Currie tool. Servicing the JJ while on the vehicle is convenient, and easy, no bench vise required. I could cobble together a tool that would do the job for less money no doubt.Yeah I got the diff one too and it needs a rebuild as well. IDK how I'm going to rebuild the passenger side. Would I need that special tool?
They will twist. Is there a JJ on the opposite end?Once the joints are on am I supposed to be able to move them by the arm?
