30 years ago I rolled my CJ5 onto it's side in a ditch due to an icy road. I expected all kinds of bad results but the worst I ended up with was the lower edge of the soft top ripped from the passenger door all the way to the rear window. I took it to a place that did tarps and boat covers and a day later I was able to put it back on. IIRC they put a 2" wide full length patch on the inside of the top with some zig zag stitching over the actual tear. It didn't look like it was brand new but it wasn't noticeable unless you were looking for it.

X2, take it to a canvas/boating top shop for repair.

They're not going to be able fix it with the top still mounted onto the Jeep. You're going to have to remove it and bring them just the top.
