Is this the ugliest bumper ever?

Much better than all of these bumpers that are speeding like herpes

It's a Wrangler, not an MRAP.

that looks ... agricultural to put it mildly

It must have some fancy lineage with a name like "Steinjager". BUt these have to be the ugliest bumpers I've ever seen. And the colors make me nauseated. Can someone clue me in as to why these ugly looking bumpers cost over $300?

To each his own on color choices and I don't have a problem with the basic shape and idea of that bumper, but I agree - for 300 bucks it is one cheap, flimsy looking bumper.

I dunno, I don't like the color but I don't mind the bumper itself. I looked around at some reviews for them and I guess you can request pretty much whatever color you want for any of their parts. I found a review on their 2.5" lift that said it seemed pretty good quality too.

These eBay/amazon bumpers are worse.....

I have the 2nd one on your “worse” list. Very popular bumper. Probably not the greatest quality. But for the price it is good.

Not sure why the bumper end cap was on your list either. Also very popular with folks who remove their milk jugs from the stock bumper.

So...worse than what? Yours? LOL

It's the colors they are using that kills me.
Don't know if anyone else remembers the 1980's, but puke pink🤮 and dayglo green🤢 were the rage for a while. Cheap 2 blade wipers, dash covers, stickers and decals of all sorts covers everything from Ford Escorts t0 Chevy Corvettes to 1 ton Dodge trucks. It was hideous. And to make it worse the cheap plastic faded in days and looked even worse.😱
Still love my "Hair Bands" music though 👍

Honestly I have always thought it's crazy to spend more than $200-$250 on a bumper. If my bumper is inexpensive than I'm not going to worry about it. If it gets badly damaged just buy a new one. If it gets rusty in a few years just buy a new one. Personally I think the Ebay/Amazon bumpers are a great value. Bumpers aren't rocket science. Spending big money on them never made sense to me. I like to spend it on suspension, tires or other things that high quality and development actually make a difference.

Cheap generic bumpers are probably fine until they aren't. I had no idea what kind of a rabbit hole my recent front and rear bumper projects would turn into once I started fixing and improving the already good starting points I had. Most will never know what was done. There are certain expensive bumpers that really are worth their price tag if they will be used as intended.

Looks like a DIY welded plate bumper.

The paint better be good paint for that price. Though I am surprised by the number of attachment points for the winch deck. I wonder if that was intentional.
