It just happened!

Much like I can't stand to work on a dirty vehicle, where stuff falls on my face, tools get treated like my Jeeps, they get a thorough cleaning when used. If something gets broken, like the light on my M12 rachet, I replace it. It may be silly to others, but I can only be who I am!

I get it. I wipe my tools down frequently, as well. But you can only get rid of some of the smell of gear oil.

Last time I swapped tool boxes I told a buddy of mine I had just finished moving my tools over.

“Did you clean your tools when you moved them over?” he asked.

“No,” I replied.

“Ha!” I knew I was more OCD than you!” he says.

“What makes you think my tools would be dirty to begin with?”

😎

Was at Home Depot yesterday and they had 10 of these sitting near the entrance. The normal price was $399 but they were reduced, on a clearance, to $240. With the 10% military discount is was $216. It was a crazy good deal for a Honda powered gas pressure washer. I've been using a HF cheap electric one, but not anymore!

This is one of the reasons I spend so much time keeping the Jeep clean. There's nothing more frustrating than having dirt fall in your face, eyes, ears, and mouth when working on the Jeep!

I’ve had that one for 7-8 years. I don’t use it a lot but no complaints. Maybe I’ve maintained it once? Or maybe not. It starts and runs pretty well. I recently used it to wash my tow rig after not using it for 8nor 9 mos. It took some pulls but did it’s job. I should probably be nicer to it…

Would be nice if my Home Depot could do this as well! Awesome deal!

I pulled the stock wiring and made a simple harness for the power supply. The dimmer I bought doesn't reduce the voltage enough and the power supply mounting needs to be sorted out, but it's getting closer to done!

What if you angled it just right so it was the light source for a workbench or maybe another piece of art, instead of making it dimmer

My current plan is to hang it in the basement.
I could put something else on the opposite wall, but I'm going to look at all couple other options for reducing the voltage 1st. This is a solvable problem!

Got a ridiculously good deal, local, on a set of discontinued wheels, 5 for less than the price of one. These are for a JK, JL, or JT. I only bought them because they could be run on the LJ, if it doesn't sell, or on a 4 door Wrangler. The nice thing about running them on a TJ/LJ is they have a 5.8" BS, which means you can "tune" the fit with different adapter sizes.

The LJ is for sale? I may have missed it. With the TJ and the LJ presumably on the block, what's next? The aforementioned 4dr?

Yes, I've posted the LJ. I've priced it high but included everything I've got to go with it. Given the price, it will likely be a hard one to sell, so we'll see where that goes. If it does, I'll take a break for a while and will eventually get a 4 door, which would be much better as a daily driver.

Working on small stuff that's sitting in boxes, and I've not done before. Lighting in the back sucks, so in went a 18" light bar. I pulled the rear panel on the hardtop and put it there. A detailed writeup will follow.

Very cool…or maybe warm…depending on the light temperature.
