It just happened!

I really despise the front license plate requirement in some states, though I do understand it’s purpose.

You’ve done the best that can be done to keep it out of harms way.
That's the purpose. I've mangled more that one license plate when they're mounted to the bumper! ;)

While my buddy was over today, I also had him remove the temporary cheap "Made in China" 2.5" OD butt clamp that was installed on the cut down-pipe. In it's place went a Walker 36530 exhaust 2.5" OD butt clamp.

If anyone else ends ups cutting their pipe, to make doing the RMS and oil pan gasket replacement easier, this is the clamp to use. I ordered several other clamps, including a Walker 33240. However, the 36530 clamp is far superior. The primary reason being, it has two clamps, an inner and outer, resulting in a stronger and tighter seal.

Do you achieve proper seal with this one? No exhaust leaks?

I've decided to go all in on this one. I ordered Blaine's power steering cooler bracket and added it to the parts that are piling up. The picture here is only part of what's waiting to be installed.

1 tons, 40's and a Hemi swap?

Don’t forget the 4-speed Atlas!

🙂

If you’re all in, you’re all in…

Let me retract. I'm going 3/4 in:

- Golen stroker
- Dana 44 front and rear
- 241 Case
- Rubicrawler
- 35" tires
- PSC steering
- BBK
- Out-boarded shocks
- All tucked and armored up
- and more

😉

I’m considering an Atlas to replace my 231. You seem pretty thoughtful in your approach to builds, so why 241?

With a 241, if you have a 42RLE and a RubiCrawler, you get 4 speeds. 1:1, 2.72:1, 4:1, and 10.88:1. The latter isn't useful, but the ability to switch between 2.72:1 and 4:1 is incredibly useful. The 231 doesn't give you this option.

All I has is the 2.72 ratio. So many aftermarket cases, could you loan me a couple bucks?
