Was building myself a tool for setting my toe the other day and maxxed out the old drill press for the first time in a while.

1 3/8" HSS spade Drill going through 3" of 6061 with no pilot hole. Worked pretty well, just should've used the shop vac to begin with as straight flutes don't evacuate chips very well and it got a bit bound up in the hole.

It's an older 1940's Walker Turner 20" with a measly 2 Morse taper spindle. Still a joy to use though

Need to go back and counter bore the wheel stud holes, completely forgot about my plate being too thick to thread a nut on.
