Jeep Clubs?

Great coaster on the boardwalk SC. Took my kids there in ‘19 just to ride it. That town has become a shithole otherwise. Can’t even walk the canal without having to avoid tent city’s.

Big Dipper is awesome, was largest wooden roller coaster for a log time. SC has always been bad but they tried to hide it to keep tourism up. It's bubbled over to point of no return. Weird mix, was the 3rd most expensive city in USA for several years because of Silicon Valley. Prior to that it was old hippies and surfers. Hippies always had drugs, silicon valley has $$$ made for a bad and dangerous combo

At one time SC county was either top, or next to it, in the country for difficulty in dealing with the building dept. Monterey county was right up there too - and I believe that as I had to deal with them one time. I ended up calling the state HUD on them and got them in hot water. They were hopping mad with no room to hop!

150ft of the Warf in SC just broke off today with a construction crew on it. Waves are pumping!! Hell of a ride for those guys but everyone is ok and accounted for

Holy shit!

Those waves don't look particularly large in that video - but my wife and I seem to possibly recall part of that wharf being closed a few years back. Wonder if they recovered that skid steer.

Warf is/was a mile long. Looks small that far out but a lot of water moving. Have friends posting pics, swell is huge right now. Last pic I saw most the debris is getting pushed toward the river mouth/seabright area

There are a few official clubs in S. CA. I don't belong to any. I find most of my runs through a Facebook group and people I know in the area.

The largest official club has a lot of requirements: 5 wheeling trips per year, attend club meetings (5?), 1 camp out, and that you do whatever they tell you for offroad events. I talked to a few that are no longer members. Sounds like it's being run by a bunch of old timers that don't even wheel anymore, just like being in charge. Just didn't sound appealing.
