I got myself a rough country lift and frankly it rides horribley I know it will never be a cadillac but how can i soften it up a little I've been told to swap out multiple different things by many different people but i wanna knows whats gonna give me the biggest difference in ride quality.

It’s a short wheel base so it rides a bit rough to begin with. Tire pressure and type of tires also impacts how it rides. What size tires and what pressure are you running?

Shocks and tire pressure are what you need to investigate.

Shocks. Shocks. Shocks. RC shocks are an abomination to anything with a spinal column. I daily drove a TJ on RC shocks for a year.

My plan, until I sold it, was to just throw some Rancho's on and call it a day. My 2016 Silverado Z71 with Ranchos is like driving on a cloud.

Lower your tires to 26-28 psi.

If they are old and shot it won’t help much.

Rancho shocks will do wonders.

TJ’s were engineered to ride good and will if set up well. Everything is interconnected, so it needs to drive good as well- to me driving and ride comfort are hard to disconnect, but are different categories. It needs caster to drive good, proper toe, and needs good sway bar link bushings.

Thanks alot to you all for giving my straight up answers instead of me guessin a bunch of possible solutions I reckon Im gonna order myself some ranchos today instead of my ride being miserable
