So this is new. My Jeep jerks to the right when I give it gas, and then jerks left when I let off the gas. It is not a smooth or soft pull it is abrupt and hard. It’s hard enough I have to fight it and turn the wheel to stay on course. If I let go of the wheel, going straight, let off gas it jerks and then pulls left. I give it gas it jerks to the right.

This only happens on he highway, above 2300 RPMs it is noticeable. Under that I barely notice. Usually running 2300-2700 rpms, and at 3000 it’s actually scary.

It is not pleasant and actually caused me to spin out the other day on the highway. Absolutely no clue what this could be. I drive a manual.

any advice is greatly appreciated.

Jeep SEEMS to only do it in 2wd. In 4hi I do not notice anything.

I assume this is “torque steering”?

I assume I’ll just go over the usual culprits with any shaking or alike with these jeeps.

Control arms, motor mounts, track bars, ball joints, etc. will take it to alignment shop tomorrow and have them check everything. Don’t have the time in winter or will to sit out in the cold and do it.
