Jeep on the drag strip?

This from the 1960s... 4WD drag racing. The Hurst Hairy Olds, with 2 Toronado 455cuin power trains and 4WD covered the quarter mile in 8+ seconds and thru the traps at 170MPH.... It earned the "Hairy" nickname because with 4 tires smoking directional stability was non-existant.

I was watching an old Motorweek episode on YouTube and the 4.0 TJ did the 1/4 in 16.2.
Not blazing fast, but pretty good for a tractor motor in a brick.
