Jeep Sliding in Snow

It had a button to disable traction control, but I think stability control was posibbly causing the problem. It also has this "X-Mode" which is supposed to mimic 4-lo but that didnt allow any wheel spin either. Nothing I tried would allow it to spin

But , did you feel SAFE sitting there going nowhere ? !

I wonder if they still have the goofy pedal dance the BRZ/FRS/GT86 had to disable the entire system for drifting...

Reddit guide on BRZ pedal dance

I remember doing it years ago in my friends FRS and he never knew it existed, we then proceeded to just dick around in an empty parking lot. classic thing car loving teenagers did late at night on the weekends.

My wife made the mistake of thinking the TJ was some kind of magic in the snow and span it and hit a crash barrier denting a fender. She would have been better off in her BMW estate with DSC and a long wheelbase

Come to think of it she has also spun a Renault in the ice, and dinged the driver's side indicator light twice on the TJ underestimating the length of the front. Maybe need to stop letting her drive it…

My wife is scared of driving/riding in snow and ice (typical southerner). I love taking her Jeep out in it. It's currently covered in salt until the roads dry up so I can spray it off at the car wash.

Way more fun to leave it in 2wd. You'll end up throwing more donuts than Dunkin'. Learning to drive sideways in a lifted TJ is an art form. Go find an empty lot, make sure there are no parking curbs hidden by snow and let it rip
