Jeep TJ AG (plus) Tractor

I tried similar but for the front of my JL. It was so heavy the springs bottomed out. I solved with bump stops but then the ride was terrible when not plowing. And the receiver mounted plow will have a lot of side to side motion and anything you hit with it will induce really high forces on that receiver. I bent one front mounted hitch and then replaced with a reinforced one. That all spooked me as to what was happening to my frame. This would cause all the same issues just in the back of the vehicle.

Personally a chunk of old chain link fence dragged behind a vehicle does a pretty damn good job of leveling a road.

my bad..... since so far only thing am finding is about scrapers/plow that may have left impression that is what am speaking of mostly. I am not... rear loaders, Buckets, Pickle Forks, and hundred other AG equipment doors get opened with a 3 point hitch. All you goto to do is add hydraulic Pump and tank option.

yeah some devices need to have their own axle to carry more of the weight and not just the TJ

Guess I already have a tractor with a backhoe.

TJs don't have PTOs for hydraulic pumps.

Rather have a tractor. But if it works for you, awesome! I'm curious.

hydraulic pump not hard to ad rather it be off off belt, 12v version. Have old Kubota tractor.... will take way more to fix it than to maybe to multi purpose Jeep in future (or my larger truck)

I’d break that the first time I used it. I use a home made 8’ drag made of 1/4” angle and surplus landing mat. RR ties added for weight. It weighs over 200# and does a nice job. I drag it behind my YJ in 4lo to dress up my RV storage lot. I also have a 7’ Land Plane for my Kubota for heavier work. Sorry for the night pics. I can take daylight ones if interested.
