Jeep tj hub interchangeably

My Jeep is a 1998 and I ordered

Timken HA597449​

Hubs. Looking into it online it says it only fits 2000+ Jeep TJS but looking on older forums I saw people saying my older tj can still use them. I just wanted to shine some new light on this topic and see if I can use them? Thanks

You only need to match the unit bearing hub with the rotor. Both either need to be mid-1999 or older or mid-1999 and newer.

Got it thanks Jerry. I have BMB rotors for my 98 year so I’ll order the correct rotors in that case.
