So I have just got my 06 Wrangler back after having the transmission overhauled to find that I am now getting a whining groan at 80km's and above, or literally as soon as I hit top gear on the highways. If the speed drops but I remain in high gear the groaning persists, but if I give it some gas and it drops a gear the noise goes away...
Took it back to the transmission guys and I am being told it must be the front diff.
Does anyone have any experience or suggestions?
