Jeep won’t start, just clicks when turning over

Ok. Got the same damn thing happening, Jeep wont start. New starter, battery is good. I feel something in ignition was going bad. All lights and radio on. When I try to turn over nothing but a click, which I hear somewhere close to my glove box. This started a few months ago. It would take a couple try's to finally start. Then I would have to bring key back towards me and there would be a spot that it would finally fire up. Does that makes sense? My husband is just about ready to sell her!

Are you saying that if you turn the key to a certain spot it will turn over and fire up?

If so, what you’re describing is a bad ignition switch or ignition switch actuator pin.

Probably 30 minutes, make sure you carry the required security style T-10 and standard T-20 torx bits with you.
