New to the forum but not new to jeeps.
Started off with a stock 2005 rocky Mt. 6 speed manual with the 4.0 and now it’s a mixture of parts.

Here she is about two years ago.

I threw on some metal cloak front fenders. A cheap bumper. A cheap 2.5 inch lift and some 35s. Also some rock sliders

After that I did the Durango steering box mod.

Also a new clutch

Next I Got a new soft top. Also got a sweet deal on some 37s and wheels and started to vinyl wrap it in blue.

I noticed my front axle wasn’t straight anymore so I built a HP30 on the cheap from an XJ. Yanked out my old axle and when the new one went in I added some spacers and nicer brakes.

Looking good so far! What kind of axles did you use?

Who did you use for the control arms and 4-link triangulated rear?

Added some nicer headlights and JK turn signals

Well that’s about it for now.
I wanted to build a front 60 for it and go to 40s but I started a new career and don’t have the time. On the list for this summer is a full cage, a pre built front 60 and a front bumper with winch and 40s.
As of right now I daily drive it. The rear locker is a little clunky but very functional. It rides very smooth and does 70+ on the highway.
Most likely I will bolt in an East Coast Gear Supply Dana 60 front. I wish I could build this one but I have very little free time.

If anyone has suggestions on a front axle that can handle 40s I’m all ears. I need it to be mostly bolt in though as install time is a factor.

Also if anyone has questions on how I did some of these mods feel free to ask
