The only guys at the farm and ranch supply.

I drove up to Lake Simcoe this morning hoping to take the ice highway across to Georgina Island but it was a no go. Too warm and open water. I parked next to an old Willys and that became the highlight of the trip (sort of). It was nice to see it next to my LJ as I understand they have a wheel base that's within an inch of each other. Several Willys have been modified to have an LJ chassis and running gear under them. This one had been modified but it was still within the spirit of an original ... and not something we see driving around in February very often.

I just returned from a camping trip at MacGregor Point on Lake Huron in Ontario. That's close to the Town of Port Elgin which is where my LJ was purchased new in 2004. The dealership is still in business so I stopped by for a pic of it with their current Jeep stock.

This LJ is a pretty early one ... built on March 17/04 and first registered at this location on June 1/04.
