Yeah, I know. I have such a soft spot for the CJ front end though...I love the styling of the late 60s/early 70s. In a perfect world, I'll buy a rusted out LJR with a good frame and put the CJ6 body on it.

I love the CJs of that time period too. I see a beautiful, old, red CJ once in a while locally, with patina that only time can give.

I would love to own an old CJ or Willys someday and restore it myself.

yep, take any vehicle, add a bit of wheelbase, a bit of horsepower, and you add speed potential. I live for those skinny gravel mountain roads.

Thats my kinda wheeling.

But it has to have a carburetor.
And a clutch.

When I got the LJ, the idea was to have my daily driver Jeep fix, get it like I want it, then start hunting for a flat fender.
