I have the same setup as your picture for the front tow hooks, but like yours it hits the rubber thing on the bumper did you cut out a little piece of rubber so it would sit flat on the bumper .Thsanks

Interesting. I had to get longer grade 8 bolts to get the strength I needed and to go through the tow hooks, but when I torqued down on the the bolts, they compressed the rubber rather nicely. There's a picture of my setup posted here someplace that shows the tow hooks compressed into the rubber. Does your rubber bumpers sit proud of the steel by much?

why not just take them off until (if) you need them? Mine sit in the tool box in the back with other recovery gear.

Look like your hooks are rather elongated causing more contact than normal. Mine just barely clip the back edge of the bumperette.
