Thanks to this thread, I decided to ‘upgrade’ the TJ my high school senior drives with a set of takeoffs from a 2019 JL. Ordered 2” adapter/spacers on Amazon. Of course, they only come as a set of 4. I used one to temporarily install the spare, and realized I only need a 1” adapter/spacer for the spare to fit, so that’s on its way. Tires were low on pressure, but filled them to 24PSI. When I got the first wheel on, I wondered whether I’d made a mistake, since the size difference was massive! But I LOVE the look of it now, and it seems to ride SO much nicer than before! I didn’t notice any rubbing, but I think I’ll do a body lift just for aesthetics. Any recommendations on that? Thanks, guys!
