Hello was wondering if anyone has tried a tail light conversion to use jk tail lights on the tj???

I haven't seen it on a TJ yet, but there's no reason it shouldn't work. Just simple wiring as far as I'm concerned.
Aren’t they bigger? May interfere with tailgate swinging?

Jk tail lights have a curved mounting surface whereas the TJ tail lights mount on a flat surface. If you could solve that issue I bet it could be done.

I've always thought it was near impossible due to the curved mounting surface.
Hopefully someone can figure out a way around this! There are many more LED tail light options for the JKs. IMO the only good looking LED tail lights for the TJ right now are the Savvy ones.

Don't really want to cut giant holes in the tub. Same reason I'd never really go to a circular led.
