Just curious:

Does anyone know what's the largest size tire you can run on a stock JK Wrangler without having to re-gear it or change out axles?

Thanks

I can only go off experience - I had 33x12.50-17 on my 2007 3.8 6-speed manual Rubicon, but it had 4.10 axles. No regear needed.

On my 2012 3.6 auto Sport, I had 265/75-16 (32") with 3.27 axles, and it was fine also. The new transmission in 2012+ plus the new engine made a huge difference in power. It probably would have been ok with 33s, but I can't swear to that. If it had 3.72 axles, it would have been fine with 33s.

I did test drive a 2011 3.8 Sport, 6-speed manual with stock tires, and that thing was a dog. It couldn't get out of its own way...probably had 3.27 axles.

OK great thanks glwood I appreciate it. While browsing, I saw this 2014, a lot of clearance between fender & wheel.
