I'm sorry I meant to put that in the heading...the jt gladiator forum.Where is this information coming from? They sold way more than that. Hell, that launch edition sold out in less than a day, and that was 4190 of them.
Will you be posting JT sales and their direct competitors sales for the next few months?I'm sorry I meant to put that in the heading...the jt gladiator forum.
it's hard to say where they get their data and of course the thing has not built up a head of steam.
Helpers brother bought the Colorado 2 years ago new. Based on his experience with all the bullshit that went wrong with it, I wouldn't take a free one. I ain't got time for all that shit. To put that in perspective, he is now driving a new Toyota and he is not the type to trade in a vehicle every two years.I have no doubt whatsoever they'll sell those things like hotcakes. It's the perfect millennial "overlanding" vehicle.
Of course when you look at what a fully loaded Rubicon model costs, all of a sudden you'd be a LOT smarter to buy a Chevy Colorado (which I would if I was looking for the better of the two trucks).
I think most of us are going to have a shaded view to some degree because we are Jeep fans... And Jeep fans tend to be hot or cold on whatever is going on.I have no doubt whatsoever they'll sell those things like hotcakes. It's the perfect millennial "overlanding" vehicle.

I just cant get on board for this thing. Trying to pull together too many worlds into one.
To be fair, folks have been doing that for new vehicles every since second mortgages have been able to be had. That or a HELOC.Clearly we're in the minority here, as people are emptying their wallets and taking out second mortgages just to get these things

My thought as well. I like a nice truck, and I like a nice Wrangler. However, when you merge the two, it just doesn't work for me.

You are probably right, but it reminds me of the CJ8 craze. Trucks are the hot market right now so the timing is better now than then. I hope it does well for them.I will tell you what is exciting... We have something hitting the market that has really never existed at least not to this scale.
You guys post whatever you want to post, this thread is just my way of saying this is one to watch.
This may be an important step in the evolution of the Jeep line... Or it might just be an offbeat vehicle... Or somewhere in between.
"Big" is a relative termThat's true. I feel like when the next big bubble hits, it will probably be due to auto financing / loans
